To celebrate 25 years of serving the East Village and New York City, Cucina di Pesce is bringing back a dinner menu from their first few years, including prices, from September 10th to September 13th.
The inspiration came when the owner was going through some Cucina di Pesce memorabilia. “I was looking for a way to celebrate Cucina di Pesce’s long existence and to thank our loyal customers when I found an old copy of a menu from the early 1991, and thought this is perfect,” said the owner. “What better way to thank our great patrons than to revist one of our original menus, prices and all?”
The aptly named Cucina Di Pesce is a place that has already earned a place on my list of neighborhood favorites. Overseen by the charismatic Nick Alija, a welcoming personality, he handles his job as floor manager and Master of Ceremonies with a grace that only many years of experience can bring.
